TFV first met Tristan Albrecht last March at AFCI Week in Los Angeles, when he sat down to record a podcast with Eric Mika, President and Publisher of The Film Verdict (now available on Spotify).
“Filming in Valais feels like home, or perhaps even better!” says Mr. Albrecht.
One of the recent completed projects supported by the Valais Film Commission is the film Let Me Go (Laissez-moi), screening as part of ACID (Association du cinéma indépendant pour sa diffusion) the parallel section at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Let Me go is produced by GoldenEggProduction, It is the first feature film by Geneva-based Maxime Rappaz. The film tells the story of Claudine, a woman who entrusts her disabled son to a neighbour and goes to a mountain hotel to meet men passing through. When one of them decides to extend his stay for her, Claudine’s daily life is disrupted and she finds herself dreaming of another life.
