VERDICT:

A founding member of Samsa Film, Claude Waringo co-founded ULPA, the Luxembourg Audiovisual Producers‘ Guild. He is a member of the European Film Academy. Between 2013 and 2018, he was a member of the jury for the Creative Development Fund of the SSA (Switzerland) and has since been a reader for the OFC (Switzerland).

Claude is also a director of Artémis Productions (BE), a director of the company Filmland, manager of the film studios in Kehlen (Luxembourg). In 2012, he co-founded the Luxembourg Filmakademie and became its first president until 2020.

Since 1989, he has produced and co-produced around forty films, including The Last Ashes, the first Luxembourg produced western (2023 Sitges Festival, Luxembourg candidate for Best International Feature Film at the 2024 Oscars and Best European Feature at the 2024 Goyas), the TV series Capitani (Seasons 1&2, broadcasted on Netflix where both seasons were ranked in the top 10 in around forty countries upon their launch), Superjhemp Retörns by Félix Koch (n°1 Luxembourg box-office 2018). At the end of 2025, Eric Lamhène’s debut feature Breathing Underwater has been awarded the “Best Feature Film” and the “Best Screenplay” Filmpräis at the Luxembourg Film Awards.
